AMIA Provides Great Venue to Share Information about Growing BMI Programs

Several members of the OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium as well as representatives from the Biomedical Informatics faculty and staff attended the most recent American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium in San Francisco, Calif., from Nov. 14-18.

“It was a fantastic venue for sharing information about our PCORI-funded clinical data research network as well as our growing biomedical informatics education offerings in the Department of Health Outcomes and Policy,” said Bill Hogan, M.D., M.S., professor and director of biomedical informatics with the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute. “We certainly plan to attend again next year!”
