University Scholars Program
The University Scholars Program introduces undergraduate students at the University of Florida to the exciting world of academic research. In the program, students work one-on-one with UF faculty on selected research projects. Through this initiative, students will take away an understanding of and appreciation for the scholarly method.
Internship
HOBI Summer Internship
The summer internship program is an 8-week multidisciplinary research training program focused on improving health outcomes for all. The program is open to talented and motivated UF and Santa Fe College undergraduate students who are interested in learning more about research opportunities and graduate education programs in health outcomes, implementation science and biomedical informatics.

Medical Student Research Program
The Medical Student Research Program (MSRP) allows first-year medical students to conduct a 10-week research project while receiving academic course credit during the summer. Participating students also receive a scholarship of approximately $2,000 to help with expenses.

Translational Research in Aging and Mobility (TRAM) Program
The Translational Research in Aging and Mobility (TRAM) program is a National institute on Aging- funded T32 program housed in HOBI. This training program provides a mentored research education for post-graduate fellows (Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent).
